Pics from Christmas Morning

Here are a couple pics from Christmas morning I have been meaning to scan...yes, we still use a "film" camera :-)

Here is my favorite gift...yes, better than the iPod. You will always be able to tell when I dress Cletus.

I also got a set of clamps. Here I am trying one of them out.

Tiny Dancer?

So, Chrissy thinks Cletus may be training to be a breakdancer or acrobat, because the last couple days she has felt/seen the baby doing the worm through her belly. That is cool stuff.

In other news, one of the gifts my lovely wife gave me for Christmas was an iPod. It is a fun little toy. I opened it last night, and I have already put about 24 CDs on it. That is 345 songs (1.44 GB)! Everything from Alabama to GnR to Michael Buble to Dave Matthews to Boyz II Men to U2 to Bob Marley to Frank Caliendo. It is pretty cool! Not as cool as Cletus doing the worm, but almost.

Have a happy and safe New Year!

Under 10 weeks to go

Well, Cletus had another successful check up today...heart beat was 142, and everything looks great.

We hope you all had a merry Christmas!

Wawd's Back Full Time!

From jayski.com...per the Morgan-McClure Motorsports website, Ward Burton has signed to drive the #4 Morgan McClure Motorsports Chevy in 2007 to be sponsored by State Water Heaters.

While I am glad Ward is back full time, I can not believe this ride will be a top 25 car right off the bat, which will be disappointing. They will have to have their stuff in order from the start next season since there will be more than 43 full time teams (52 is the current count - that means at least 9 cars will be sent home from every race), and the 4 car finished 39th in points last season, hence not guaranteeing a spot in the first 5 races. I have faith in Ward though!

The Heartbeat of America

No...not today's Chevrolet...but Cletus' heartbeat...it was 151 bpm this morning, which the docs say is good.
So, the heartbeat tracker has been...
August 24 - 160
September 20 - 141
October 16 - 145
November 13 - 140
December 12 - 151

The doc this morning said all looks good, and it may be a small baby, based on measurements. That is fine by us. Me thinks Chrissy does not want a 10 pounder :-)

In other news, the nursery is painted! Chrissy wrapped that up last night...our first foray into decorative painting. She did a great job. Pics will be posted soon.

Also, we figured out last night we already have 25+ infant onezees.

It is also started to hit us that we are about 11 weeks from welcoming Cletus into the world. We are definitely on the downhill. Scary, yet exciting. We don't know if we will be totally prepared, but have decided to make it up as we go along!
