32 Days...

...until Cletus' due date, AKA Labor Day.

Everythings seems to be going well. Chrissy feels good. Had another doctor's appointment this morning. The doctor (midwife actually) said everything looked great. Heartbeat was strong, baby was in a great position, and the doc said all is good.

In other baby related news...we are getting all educated by classes provided by the hospital system here. I went to a new daddy bootcamp class a couple weeks ago, and we finished our prepared childbirth class. Other classes we are taking in the next few weeks are a mommy bootcamp class, infant massage, taking care of baby, infant CPR, and labor support. We also went to a couple partner yoga classes which provided some good information and techniques for Labor Day.

The nursery is pretty much complete. All the furniture has been procured.

We are getting closer and closer to being ready. Apparently, so is Cletus :-)

The Race for the Chase

Yes! Daytona is right around the corner. Each of the past couple years, I have written down the 10 drivers I thought would make the chase at the end of the season. Each year, I think I got about 1/2 of them right.

I just can't help but smiling when I hear our baby's heartbeat during checkups. It is the coolest thing in the world right now, along with feeling him/her move around inside Chrissy.

Everything checked out good this morning...Cletus' heartbeat was 150 bpm.

We are blessed.
