Some Things I Do Not Understand

Why can't some women take an extra five minutes at home in the morning to put on their makeup?

I saw two women this morning on my drive to work applying different forms of makeup. I can kind of understand the one at a stoplight applying powder or something with a brush. But the lady in front of me applying mascara and lipstick while the moving and looking into the visor mirror...come on now. Do these ladies keep makeup in their glove box?

Isn't this illegal? Maybe there should be makeup laws instead of cell phone laws.

I think any driver shouldn't be distracted by unnecessary items, such as cell phones (even cordless), makeup, changing the radio, music while driving. This is proven to be distracting. I can't say for certain if cell phones are illegal in Charlotte but where I reside, they are, although sadly rarely enforced.

I don't see anything wrong with those people trying to look good for when they ram their cars into someone else's bumper. ;) Aside from makeup and cell phones, I've also seen people looking at a map while the car still moving. I never understood why can't they just pull over into a lot ( or shoulder) and take their time, rather than do it while driving.
