A Trip to the NASCAR Hall Of Fame

Well, it has been a while since I posted on this here blog.  I have been wanting to take a trip to the NASCAR Hall of Fame since it opened, and yesterday I took the kiddos there for a little bit of fun with daddy.  Here is a photo diary of our trip!

They really didn't care where we were going son long as we took the train/light rail!

The obligatory "we are going to take your picture so we can sell it to you for a *small* fee picture."

Standing in front of my favorite car!

The back end of "Glory Road".  Notice the banking and the railing where you can walk and see what 33 degrees of banking feels like.  Annabelle asked how race cars don't fall down on the race track.

My favorite driver when I was a kid...Cale Yarborough.

They have some good interactive things.  Here Annabelle and Eli pick up a mini-gas can for a pit stop.

And you have to change the tires!

Here they are in front of Annabelle's favorite car.  Yes, she tried to eat the M&Ms off the car.

Since mommy's favorite candy are Reese's, Annabelle requested this picture for her.

Eli and Annabelle with the Fabulous Hudson Hornet (AKA Doc from Cars).

A neat Jeff Gordon die cast collection.

 Chillin with some M&Ms.

Darrell Waltrip

Earnhardt!

Cale Yarborough

Silver Fox David Pearson

The King

Lee Petty

If you are in or make it to Charlotte, it is worth the trip.  I did not get a chance to ride in the simulator...it was popular.  The next stop on our racing trips...hitting the track!!!

Hi there this is kind of of off topic but I was wanting to know if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you
have to manually code with HTML. I'm starting a blog soon but have no coding know-how so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!
